Christmas is just around the corner, so we say when the ‘ber’ months come in. Some are just too excited to send their good wishes, others just smile when they receive early greetings.

The last one is kind of ‘not so nice’ to read. The word ‘X-mas’ always reminds me of one sermon of a priest a few Christmases back, he said that it saddens him when some people shortens the word Christmas to X-mas, which he said is wrong.
He asked, “what does ‘X’ mean?”
“It simply means NO, so when you write X-mas, it literally means NO CHRIST, therefore there’s nothing to celebrate, NO CHRISTMAS at all.”
What the priest said actually made sense. After all the reason for the season is CHRIST so why omit the word CHRIST from Christmas?
